Explanation !
Merchandise is 100% OK and Inspected before we ship!
But Boxes might be scratched, dented or dirty or even missing.
We found these during Cleaning up our warehouse.
As with all Manufacturing and Warehouse
Operations, we occassionally have items where the Merchandise is 100% OK, but the boxes have been damaged in shipping
to us, used at a Trade Show and boxes got a little scruffy, or returned because Fedex, or UPS damaged the box in shipping etc.
In some cases, we have acquired models
of other brands for R&D (or just got carried away at a train show, yes we are Model Railroaders too! Enough Said !
Items listed are usually just one or two
of an item, and are heavily discounted due to the condition of the boxes (or lack there-of) etc.
But every item is inspected (and test run
if a Locomotive) and so you are assured of getting merchandise that is 100%.

Pre-Orders must be placed prior to "Pre-Order Closing Date" for that specific item to guarantee delivery of that item to you.
But we encourage you to still place a Pre-Orders for the item you wish even after the closing date as
we often have a few pieces left after all confirmed Pre-Orders are shipped, and then we go to the list of Pre-Orders received after the closing date, and fill orders
based on the Date the order as received. (That means we fill the off the standby list starting with the oldest date first.)
